Get ready for 6 new and exciting events for Downtown Wheatland!  A group of producers, bakers, crafters and artisans have scheduled 6 farmers' markets for the Pocket Park beginning on Saturday, August 7th which also happens to be the date of the Platte County Fair Parade in Wheatland.  This is an opportunity for the locals and out-of-town guests to come purchase freshly picked vegetables as well as a myriad of other local products while having the opportunity to catch up on the news with friends and neighbors.  The schedule for the 6 markets is as follows:
Saturday, August 7 from 8:30 until noon
Saturday, August 14 from 8:30 until noon
Saturday, August 21 from 8:30 until noon
Saturday, August 28 from 8:30 until 2:00 (Green Harvest Festival)
Saturday, September 4 from 8:30 until noon
Saturday, September 11 from 8:30 until noon
